OUR STORY
After more than a decade as top performing Mercedes-Benz salesmen, Marco Schnabl and Johannes Gnauck recognized the need for more sophisticated technology that leveraged data to improve the automotive retail experience for both buyers and sellers. In 2012, the two combined their expertise to develop a platform that transformed the dealership sales process, and automotiveMastermind was born.
After launching with six dealer partners in 2013, Mastermind quickly grew to serve more than 800 dealers nationwide by 2016. Those early, impressive results caught the attention of IHS Markit, a world leader in information, analytics and solutions, who acquired Mastermind in 2017.
Since then, Mastermind has continued to transform the automotive retail industry, introducing its flagship sales and marketing platform in 2019 in 2019. Today, Mastermind is empowering thousands of dealer partners to maximize their loyalty, service and conquest portfolios through a combination of turnkey predictive analytics, proactive marketing and dedicated consultative services.
